Stephen Curry — 2974
In 2021, while completing my flight instructor qualifications, I created five drawings for Stephen Curry’s 2974 Collection. Every mark was made from the handwritten number behind his historic NBA record.

What began with a fellow flight instructor noticing one of my drawings turned into six aircraft designs for Denver’s United Mainliner Store. Every airplane is drawn from its own model number.

THE ARTIST BEHIND THE WORK
One foot in the cockpit. One in the studio.
I'm Andrea McDonald, a professional pilot and the artist behind Studio Amac. Aviation and art were separate parts of my life for years. Flight training was when those worlds finally came together.
Today, I fly organ-transplant missions and create original drawings made entirely from handwritten words and numbers. My wife, Sofi, has also played an important role in building the studio and bringing projects to life.
