Our ‘Pointillism with Words’ Process:

  1. Each subject gets one word or phrase that captures it — a callsign, a nickname, a place, a feeling.
  2. That word becomes the only tool used to build the image. The word is hand-written over and over, varying size, pressure, and density, until the repetition itself starts to trace the shape of the subject.
  3. What looks like a fine-line portrait from a distance is, up close, entirely made of language — thousands of words layered into a single piece.
